Honour BandHonour band is a small musical ensemble comprised of grade six band students who are looking for an extra challenge. They tackle music that is above the beginning level, which also leads to their becoming more knowledgeable with some advanced musical theory. The students choose the songs they want to play and then attend rehearsals every Monday after school, and occasionally at lunch hours. This year, approximately 10 very dedicated musicians make up the ensemble, along with their director, Miss Bienert. Honour band's first performance of 2004/2005 was at the Christmas concert, and they hope to continue performing for the remainder of this year at some school-wide assemblies, as well as at the Spring Concert.
